Violent Delight were a punk/metal band from St Albans, Hertfordshire, England, consisting of Rodney Henderson (born 23 May 1985 (vocals), VD TOM (guitar), Ben Macrow (bass) and Ken Hayakawa (drums)). ==Career== In 2000 Violent Delight, consisting of Rodney and Tom released ''Hands Up! If You've Got VD'', a 9 track demo CD. They followed this in 2001 by being signed to J Albert & Son publishers, and Hayakawa and Macrow joined later that year. A year later they toured with A, Rival Schools, Ill Niño and Suicidal Tendencies, and released "Secret Smile" and "Same Old Story" on limited edition vinyl. Despite their youth (Henderson and Tom were both sixteen at the time) they were signed to a recording contract with Warner Bros. Records UK in 2002. Their first single, "Secret Smile", was produced by Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones and gained rotation on Kerrang! television and P-Rock, but performed dismally in the charts. Violent Delight's next two singles were produced by Ill Niño drummer Dave Chavarri. The second single "I Wish I Was a Girl", reached No. 25 in the UK Singles Chart and again gained rotation on alternative music satellite channels. Their third single "All You Ever Do" also entered the UK chart at number 38.〔 Their first album, ''Transmission'' was finally released in late 2003, to many great reviews but some unfavorable reviews. This was especially apparent in ''Kerrang!'' magazine who had initially supported the band, and included them on some of their compilation albums. SuzyHope was created with Henderson and Hayakawa, whilst Macrow and Vex Red guitarist Nick Goulding, created their new band, Selladore, during the summer of 2003. Tom returned to school to study law. Violent Delight performed one last farewell gig on 10 November 2006, to a sell-out crowd at the Camden Barfly, London. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Violent Delight」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
